Why does the tool include station and parking time?+
A two-hour train and a two-hour drive do not create the same door-to-door journey. Central stations often save transfer time, while driving requires parking and a final walk.
When can a car still win?+
Driving becomes stronger for a larger party, heavy luggage, rural onward travel or a destination where the car is useful after arrival. Getting around Poland sets out which legs genuinely reward a car and which are faster left to rail.
